Noun:
Extreme or irrational fear of cats.
From: from the Greek αἴλουρος (aílouros), "cat" and φόβος (phóbos), "fear". Folk etymology connects it with aiolos "quick-moving" + oura "tail."

Used in a Sentence:
"Well, I had NO IDEA that my fiancee suffered from ailurophobia at the time, I was just trying to do something special when I surprised her with tickets to “Cats".
