- One who keeps their mouth open; a gullible, boorish oaf.
- One who believes everything he or she hears.
- A mouth breather.

From French (literally translates as a fly swallower) from “gober” (to gulp down, swallow)

Used in a sentence:

“Bransby was written up for tricking Pennington, the office gobemouche, into doing all of his work for him for over a month.”
