obganiate

Obganiate
verb

Pronunciation:
[ob-gey-nee-ate]

Definition:
To cause irritation by reiteration.

Etymology:
The etymology was a tough one! From the Italian ostinato meaning obstinate, persistent.

Usage:
“From the way you obganiate about him I can tell you are enamored with this new man of yours but for sanity’s sake there's only so many ways I can respond to the phrase isn’t he dreamy?

Love Tahlia, who just spent two weeks listening to someone obganiate about how majestic a deer was.

I was aware of ostinato as a musical term, but i didn't know before that it literally means "obstinate"! i guess it makes sense tho.

Well, more persistent -- a bass line that goes on and on and on ...

Also, from Latin obgannire, to yelp or growl at + -ate.
