Forgive me if I keep this short, all, but we're in the middle of a heat-wave here in South Australia, so my brain's all mush. Since Sunday the 19th, we've had temperatures of 87, 98, 110, 114 and 109 degrees Fahrenheit today, and the next seven days are forecasted to be 108, 104, 104, 102, 100, 100 and 104 degrees!

*sweats*

Tregetour [trej'e-ter]
noun


A juggler, trickster or deceiver. Originally used to describe a type of jester or juggler, tregetour, though now archaic, eventually came to mean someone who uses cunning tricks to deceive others (sometimes but not limited to stage performances).

I have no mozzies, but my AC is great in my lounge, but doesn't cool any other part of my, frankly, TINY apartment.

It's a sad state of affairs when I sit and look at the weather and think "OMG YES! ONLY 36 DEGREES!"

Me too! Melbourne is sweltering. DON'T MAKE ME LEAVE THE ONE AIR-CONDITIONED ROOM IN THE HOUSE. And how considerate of you to translate all our degrees Celsius into Fahrenheit to oblige the large American audience! Lucky I did the same yesterday for my large American audience so I can understand it.

Poor Melburg - I hear there's been some pretty bad fires out Vic way. And thanks! I figure the Americans need translating, and the Australians are happy to just go "YES THAT IS HOT."

Even though I have AC, and work has AC, I really do not want to leave my nice chilly little bubble long enough to go to another.
