Hello all you charismatic stallions!
Today's awesome word is!
Redivivus [red-i-vee'vus]
adjective, though I think it works better as a noun.
Meaning:
Resuscitated, come to life again. Could be used in a literal and a renaissance kind of manner.
Etymology:
Latin, from red- again, and vivus alive
Usage:
With the recent replacement of the company's CEO, the new man to take over his job hoped to see a definitive redivivus of customer care and quality over raising profits. A happy customer, he said, was more likely to stay than one that just got a good deal to join!
I also hope to see a redivivus for daily posting - there's only been two since my last one!
