Acrasia noun, /ə′krāzēə/
Means Excess or intemperance; lack of self control or acting against ones better judgement
Comes From Ancient Greek ἀκρασία meaning to "lack command over oneself."
For Example
-Those that believe in the Impossibility of Acrasia, the idea that one is unable to simultaneously know what is right and do otherwise, have apparently managed to never fall in love whilst going through puberty.
-Standing in front of the cheesecake, I succumbed to acrasia so swiftly that when the moment passed and again my appetite met rapprochement with my ration I could hardly imagine where the dessert had gone. I was pleased to note, however, a pleasant satiety which I took to presume that my regimen of celery sticks is doing its job.
