Friends, what cheer?

It's Wednesday again, which means another installment of Shakespearean Imagination!

I know I usually try to give a pithy intro to our weekly installment, but I have been working 11-16 hour days for the past several weeks. It is exceedingly difficult to be pithy under such a schedule, but in honour of my workload, I give you today’s word:

laughable : laugh•a•ble /ˈlafəbəl/ (adjective) :

adjective
- So ludicrous as to be amusing.

Synonyms: ridiculous - ludicrous - comical - funny - comic

First seen in Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice (written 1596 - 1597). The full text of the play may be found here.
