Today's words taken from Cuentamelo: An Oral History of Queer Latin Immigrants in San Francisco, which ran in this week's free paper SF Weekly in San Francisco.
The words are chosen in honor of SF Pride's world famous Gay Day Parade this weekend and to acknowledge the scope and variety even within the community itself; language touches many aspects of life; it empowers us to express ourselves as well as observe our world more keenly.
