Our usual purveyor of all things vocabulary, prettygoodword has some exciting things going on in their personal life and will be taking a break.

In the meanwhile, I'll be overseeing the community and introducing brendala as the Thursday wordsmith substitute; she is an artist (DeviantArt.com account here) and has chosen to illustrate word choices as an added feature!

Hi there! My name is brendala , and I'll be filling in for prettygoodword on Thursdays while he's on paternity leave. I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Since I'm not the world's greatest writer, I thought it might be fun to shake things up and do my submissions in comic form. And, for my first submission, I give you an illustrated lesson on the origins of the word "glitch". Enjoy!
