holothurian (hoh-loh-THUR-ee-an) - n., any echinoderm of the class Holothuroidea, the sea cucumbers. adj., of, resembling, or relating to sea cucumbers.
Sea cucumbers!
More! It is entirely possible that I love this word too much. I came across this in relation to this anthology of over 900 haiku about sea cucumbers translated from Japanese. The word was coined around 1840 from Latin holothūrium, water polyp, from Greek holothoúrion, of uncertain origin.
This is a book of holothurian haiku, for all of the poems are about sea slugs.
