It's Wednesday again, which means another installment of Shakespearean Imagination!
As the countdown to spring begins in the northern hemisphere (and the countdown to a cooler autumn in the southern), I have found myself realising that neither my behaviour nor my wardrobe actually changes all that much with the seasons, as I spend the vast majority of my time at the office (a 17 hour day yesterday, for example). In honor of that, I give you today’s word (which basically sums up my feelings on the matter):
obscene : ob•scene /əbˈsēn/ (adjective) :
adjective
- (of the portrayal or description of sexual matters) Offensive or disgusting by accepted standards of morality and decency.
- Offensive to moral principles; repugnant.
Synonyms: bawdy - indecent - nasty - lewd - salacious - filthy
