inexorable [in-EK-ser-uh-buhl]

adjective
1. unyielding; unalterable
2. not to be persuaded, moved, or affected by prayers or entreaties

The inexorable judge gave the sentence she believed was just despite the roar of outrage the defendant's supporters let loose.

I see that this word's been done before, but it was quite a while ago, so I thought it'd be okay. I kept seeing 'inexorable' in a book I'm reading and was annoyed to find I didn't know what it meant, so I thought I'd look it back up and share.

Yes, but at least Hexwood is a good book. (Love that thing.)

Once you're finished having fun having your brain twisted inside out and want more of it, go track down The Homeward Bounders, also by Jones.

READ THEM ALL. Some are better than others, it's true, but they all have to be tried because they are amazing. My favourite is Fire and Hemlock, though it doesn't really make sense. I agree about the ending of Hexwood.
