"Oh, let go of my garment, you little limpet boy!" exclaimed Torquil in a poor attempt to remember an actual line from Archer's Goon.

Is it time for a new round of recruitment for those days where the regular posters have gone AWOL? And should that be done here or in a separate post? (Who's the administrator around here anyway?)

And as part of putting my money where my mouth is, I'm down as an alternate for a weekday, and am willing to step up to being a regular.

Can one of you guys start the administrivial post asking for replacement posters? I don't have posting privileges here. (Which makes me wonder how I could be an alternate, but never mind.)

I've already taken the liberty of contacting both the owner and maintainer of the community, but neither have answered my emails, and no one else has the ability to maintain the community. At least, nothing like adding or removing people - only changing layouts and such which doesn't help us.

Basically, until either the owner or maintainer make contact, there's only two of us posting.

Incidentally, Torquil is the name of one of my grandcestors from 1220 or so, who founded one of the two major houses of the MacLeod clan. Does the book reference any characters called Tormod?

Not that I remember, but I'd have to dig it out of a box -- after figuring out which box.
