castrametation (kæstrəmɛnˈteɪʃən), noun

The art of designing and laying out a military encampment.

Etymology:  French, from Latin castra metari; castra, camp + meta, boundary

The definition in The World Book Encyclopedia Dictionary is "the art of arranging military camp sites".  Which makes me think of flowers.
(That is the dictionary of my youth, which I read for fun while growing up.  Yep.)

This word made me think that if men got a period, it might be termed this.

However, I do like the definition.
