It took me forever to find it.

Peenge - The act of complaining in a whiny voice.

My cat is a master of peenage, especially when it comes to wanting treats.

Echopraxia - When you mimic the moves of others whether consciously or unconsciously (i.e. yawning).

We used to call this 'Monkey see, Monkey do' when I was a kid. Do you yawn when someone else does? I know I always do, even when I'm trying hard not to.

Illywhacker - A small time confidence trickster (Australian).

Being a fan of Man from UNCLE and of Illya Kuryakin, I stumbled across this word and knew I had to bring it forth.

I'm not really sure what a small time confidence trickster is, but it sounds like fun!

Mogigraphia - Writer's Cramp. Who knew there was a word for it?

Ooglification - To substitute an "OO" sound for another vowel sound to make a regular English word into a slang word or to make a slang word even more slangier.

An example: Detroit turns into Detroot.

I wonder if there's a word for Pig Latin lovers...

Aprosexia - An abnormal inability to pay attention, characterized by near-complete indifference to everything. Usually blamed on ADD these days

Opposite is hyperprosexia, meaning to concentrate on one thing to the exclusion of everything else; and,

paraprosexia, meaning the inability to pay attention to any one thing (a state of constant distraction).

I fear that I suffer from the latter. I blame cats, the internet and Nutrasweet. It isn't MY fault! :P

Niveous - Adjective meaning snowy or resembling snow.

Desticate - To squeak like a rat.

They tell me that just hearing it makes them hungry. :D

Liripoop - The tail of a graduate's hood (an old feature of academic dress). The liripoop hung down the back when the hood was off, and it was wrapped like a bandage around the head when the hood was on. The liripoop is both intimidating to others and uncomfortable for the wearer.

I don't know what you would do with this word except possibly tuck it away from trivia night...
